Naples mayoral candidate attracts City Council candidates. πΊπΈ Gary Price, the former City Council member and vice mayor of Naples who is running to be mayor of the city, has convinced a couple of other citizens to join him in seeking seats on the Council. (GB)
Plans for Naples Design District taking shape. βοΈ Later on this month, the CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency) will consider a design proposal to design the Design Walk, the pilot Design Walk, which is meant to be an example in the public realm of what this area of town can look likeβthe activation of alleys, the refurbishing of sidewalks, etc. (GB)
Planning commission recommends approval of housing development next to Naples Airport. π‘ The Collier County Planning Commission voted unanimously Thursday in favor of recommending rezoning an 11-acre property directly across from Terminal Drive leading to Naples Airport. The previously zoned agricultural property would allow for 15 single-family dwelling units in addition to 12 private boat slips to be known as the Rock Creek Estates Residential Planned Unit Development.
